About the Role

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager/Officer to support the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Malaysian labor laws and capable of supporting a workforce deployed across data centers and property management operations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process for technical and non-technical positions (e.g., engineers, cleaners, security guards, admin staff).
• Work closely with departmental heads to understand manpower needs and build workforce pipelines.
• Conduct interviews, background checks, and issue offer letters and employment contracts.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding
• Prepare onboarding materials, conduct induction sessions, and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
• Maintain employee records and handle offboarding processes, including exit interviews and clearance.
• Coordinate probation evaluations and confirmation processes.

3. Attendance & Payroll Support
• Track attendance and leave records using HRIS or manual systems.
• Assist with monthly payroll input, overtime tracking, and allowances coordination.
• Ensure timely and accurate employee benefit administration (SOCSO, EPF, EIS, medical claims, etc.).

4. Employee Relations & Compliance
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and Malaysian labor laws.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act, OSHA, and other statutory regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of warnings, disciplinary cases, and legal correspondences.

5. Performance & Training
• Coordinate annual performance reviews and appraisal cycles.
• Maintain training records and assist in organizing internal or external training programs.
• Propose staff development and retention initiatives.


Requirements:
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience:
• Officer: 1–3 years of HR generalist experience
• Manager: 5+ years, with supervisory experience
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS/HRIS systems

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing blue-collar and site-based employees
• Familiar with HR support in construction, facility services, or data center environment
• Certified HR practitioner (e.g., HRDC, MIHRM, or equivalent) is a plus

Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Available for urgent HR matters outside office hours if required
