About the Role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive / Manager to handle the full spectrum of financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will support strategic decision-making by ensuring accurate financial data and efficient financial controls for our data center and facility management operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions (AP/AR/GL)
• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustment entries
• Oversee petty cash, staff claims, and vendor payments
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
2. Financial Reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Generate project-level and departmental budget performance reports
• Analyze variances and provide insights to management for decision-making
• Support external audits and financial reviews
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting
• Monitor actual expenses vs budget and flag anomalies or overspending
• Track project budgets (e.g., MEP installation or facility contracts) and advise project teams
4. Taxation & Compliance
• Prepare and submit SST/GST, income tax, and other regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements (e.g., LHDN, SSM)
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and government authorities
5. Process Improvement & Internal Controls
• Streamline finance processes for efficiency and transparency
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and approval workflows
• Support digitalization and finance system implementation (e.g., accounting software or ERP)

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Certifications: ACCA, CPA, or MIA membership (preferred for Manager level)
• Experience:
• Executive: 2–3 years in accounting or finance role
• Manager: 5+ years with experience in leadership and reporting
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, SAP)
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Attention to detail, time management, and analytical thinking
• Knowledge of construction/project accounting is a plus

• Experience in data center, construction, or facility service industry
• Knowledge of multi-entity or project-based accounting
• Familiarity with SST, WHT, payroll-related compliance, and audit coordination

• Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Able to work extended hours during reporting or audit periods
